The World Health Organization, Unicef and U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and have developed "Triangulation Guidance for improved Decision-Making in Immunization Programmes". This guidance provides a systematic approach to using triangulation for programme improvement at the national and subnational levels. For both levels, there are separate documents for general triangulation guidance and annexes that provide specific triangulation guidance for key topics: immunity gaps; programme performance; and programme targets (denominators). The link to guidance, capacity building tools, and other resources in English and French can be found here: https://www.technet-21.org/en/topics/triangulation.
Additionally, there will be a presentation on data triangulation at the TechNet Conferernce during the "Data use for supply chain management: From zero to hero" session on October 21st from 4:00-5:00pm Paris time: https://www.technet-21.org/en/community/events/577-data-use-for-supply-chain-management-from-zero-to-hero. This session will present guidance for data triangulation developed by CDC and WHO; a practical tool for triangulating data developed by JSI in Ethiopia; and best practices of data review teams by inSupply. Please join us!
We also encourage the Technet-21 community to help us start discussions around triangulation on the Technet-21 discussion forum. Please use the "triangulation" tag so we can keep the conversation going and share experiences!
