A new online training component has been added to the WHO Economic Value Chain Package for Influenza Vaccination to support decision making and implementation efforts for influenza vaccination in low- and middle-income countries based on economic data.
Economic Value Chain Package for Influenza Vaccination consists of three components that help countries to 1) assess the disease and economic burden of seasonal influenza, 2) estimate the projected costs of introducing influenza vaccine to national immunization programs and 3) conduct economic evaluations of influenza vaccination.
New online courses on OpenWHO platform complement in-person training and facilitate learning by providing information in user-friendly formats for decision-makers, national immunization program managers and analysts.
