National Technical Advisory group for immunization consisting GOI and development partners, on the basis of epidemiological data, prepare National Immunization Schedule, revise and update time to time either for the whole country or to state / specific districts- say whether to include JE or not, one dose or 2 doses and the like. Other than these essential vaccines, many optional vaccines are also available in the private sector and with inadequate IEC/IPC and unequitable distribution among urban & rural, rich and the poor, beneficiaries are confused and loose confidence in the service providers of both the sectors as expressed by the parents who came to get Measles 1st dose to their first precious child who completed 9 months on 25-05-15, on being mobilized by the area ANM to the PHC Sampaje attached to KVG Medical College. Please find one page with photo of immunization card expressing the concern of the parents + need to address for better participation/understanding by the community + private public partnership in the successful implementation of the programme.
