SUMMARY:Introducing the new “Implementing integrated health campaigns: Decision-making and planning guide”
DESCRIPTION:Health campaigns are among the most effective ways to rapidly deliver essential health interventions at scale. However, when campaigns are planned and implemented independently, opportunities can be missed to improve efficiency, reduce operational burdens, strengthen coordination, and maximize impact.\nThis webinar will explore both the why and the how of campaign integration. Participants will be introduced to the Health Campaign Effectiveness (HCE) Coalition's Collaborative Action Strategy, which outlines a shared vision and strategic approach for making campaigns more integrated, equitable, and country-centred.\nThe webinar will also present WHO's newly launched Implementing integrated health campaigns: Decision-making and planning guide (available in English and French at: https://iris.who.int/handle/10665/387697), developed in collaboration with the HCE Coalition, technical experts, and implementing partners. Covering immunization, malaria, neglected tropical diseases, nutrition, and other health interventions, the guide provides a practical five-step process to help countries determine when integration is appropriate and how to plan, implement, and evaluate integrated campaigns effectively.\nParticipants will gain insights into key considerations before, during, and after implementation, as well as lessons learned from countries that have integrated campaigns in diverse contexts.\nThis session will be delivered in English with French interpretation. Other languages can be available using the Zoom automatic translation feature.
