SUMMARY:Implement gender-responsive immunization services in emergency settings
DESCRIPTION:WHY GENDER MATTERS FOR IMMUNIZATION: SECOND WEBINAR SERIES\nThe Immunization Agenda 2030 envisions a world where everyone, everywhere, at every age, fully benefits from vaccines to improve health and well-being. Gender-related barriers and gender inequality can prevent people, both male and female, from getting vaccinated. The goal of gender equality is to ensure that everyone has the same chances and opportunities to access and benefit from immunization services.\nBuilding upon the first webinar series organized in 2023 (https://www.technet-21.org/en/topics/programme-management/gender-and-immunization), this second series of webinars, based on the joint WHO, UNICEF and Gavi guidance document Why Gender Matters: IA2030 (https://www.who.int/publications/i/item/9789240033948), aims to further improve awareness and understanding of how gender-related barriers impact immunization. The series will focus on examples and best practices of gender-responsive programming to improve coverage and equity from around the world. \nSessions will be in English, with simultaneous translation into French.\n \nFifth webinar session: Implement gender-responsive immunization services in emergency settings\nSession description to be updated.\nRegistration available here: https://who.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_ww9PgxybTcWv-OkPZNE43A
