DESCRIPTION:Dear colleagues,\nWe are delighted to invite you to a new webinar: Catch-Up Vaccination: Insights from 5 Big Catch-up Country Case Studies, organised by the Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research, the WHO and TechNet.\nThe Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research and the Immunization, Vaccines and Biologicals Department at WHO in collaboration with local partners have conducted case studies of the BCU implementation and plans for institutionalization in Cameroon, United Republic of Tanzania, Yemen plus subnational cases from Bauchi and Rivers states in Nigeria and Punjab and Sindh provinces in Pakistan.\nOn Monday, December 1st come hear lessons learned from the planning and implementation of the BCU as well as local strategies for institutionalizing catch-up efforts to ensure ongoing efforts to reach children who have missed vaccine doses including challenges for the future.\nWith this session, we plan to\n- Improve understanding of the practical challenges and solutions in the planning and implementation of catch-up vaccination activities; and\n- Engage in dialogue and peer learning on the strengths and limitations of integrating catch-up strategies into national immunization programs.\nMonday, December 1st at 14.00 – 15.30 CET.
