SUMMARY:Reaching Zero-Dose Children: Insights from Six Implementation Research Studies
DESCRIPTION:Come learn how implementation research is helping immunization programmes reach zero dose children!\nUnder the MAINSTREAM project, the Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research and the Immunization, Vaccines and Biologicals Department at WHO in collaboration with local mentor institutes have supported small, local and policy-relevant implementation research projects in Cameroon, Ghana, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique and Pakistan. These projects aim to improve vaccine coverage and equity and strengthen the learning approaches in local contexts.\nMAINSTREAM supported 25 local IR projects – during this webinar we will hear from six projects covering topics including community health worker interventions, integration of immunization with other services, leveraging digital innovations to identifying zero-dose children and flexible vaccination time slots to be more caregiver friendly. We will also reflect on how to support EPI teams to integrate IR into their efforts for evidence-informed decisions.\nJoin us on Tuesday, 09 December at 14.00 – 15.30 CET. French interpretation will be available.\nRegister at the link below. See you there!\nhttps://who.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_5GhyEMpJTn6YO_rG5iLsRw#/registration
