Serving the Community - Immunization Awareness
The Philippines is the 12th most-populated country in the world and is made up of over 7,000 small islands. Providing so many people with vaccinations for deadly diseases like measles seems like an impossible task. That doesn’t stop Gaylene from doing her part in her community. In fact, it motivates her to help as much as she can. Vaccinations were reaching fewer and fewer children over time, causing measles outbreaks. Something had to be done. Gaylene volunteers with local youth groups to inform communities of the immunization drive.
