CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS: 2010 TechNet21 consultation in Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaHeld every 2 years, the TechNet21 consultation provides an opportunity for the immunization community to put issues of logistics and supply chain at the forefront. The meeting rotates through the WHO regions, and this year will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: November 30-December 2, 2010, hosted by the Western Pacific Region.This year's meeting will focus on preparing immunization logistics systems to meet the needs of the next decade.We are currently accepting submissions of abstracts for presentations at the meeting. Presentations should highlight country-specific experiences or new innovations in one or more of the following fields:- VACCINE CHARACTERISTICS AND DELIVERY DEVICES- COLD CHAIN EQUIPMENT- INFORMATION SYSTEMS- SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT- TRAINING- HUMAN RESOURCESSubmission process: Please submit an overview of the proposed topic and structure of your presentation, in no more than 300 words. Include the name, title and contact information (phone and email) of the proposed presenter. Send by email to:[email=richardsong@who.int]richardsong@who.int[/email] by Wednesday, 6 October 2010 Selection process: Abstracts will be reviewed between October 6th and 14th. We will revert to presenters with any requests for qualifications. Successful applicants will be notified by October 22nd, 2010. Please note that WHO has very limited funds available to support travel to the TechNet meeting and presenters are therefore encouraged to lookfor other sources of funding.Rudi Eggers
