Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, advocacy and engagement from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) have played a critical role in overcoming the crisis from ensuring essential services are available to filling gaps in healthcare systems to engaging with communities and sharing accurate, real-time information about how to stay safe.

As COVID-19 vaccine introduction progresses around the world, CSOs and others continue to work to achieve equitable vaccine distribution and access. Boost is excited to announce our next COVID-19 Listening & Learning session will explore lessons learned from CSOs’ advocacy at national, regional and global levels for equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines with particular emphasis on what has and has not worked and what work remains to be done.

We invite you to join us for this session on Tuesday, May 25 at 9:30 AM EDT (find local time).

During this interactive session, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore the role of CSOs in advocating for equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines
  • Learn about tools and approaches used by CSOs to successfully engage with national governments throughout the pandemic
  • Discuss how CSOs can be better leveraged by decision-making authorities to ensure equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines

This session is open to all immunization professionals and partners engaged in COVID-19 vaccine introduction. If you are involved in vaccine introduction and have a story, challenge or learning that you’d like to share, please contact us at [email protected].
