Verification and Traceability Iniative - Reflections from the Past Year

The VTI (Verification and Traceability Initiative) and TRVST (Traceability and Verification System) complement other global efforts led by partners and countries to digitalize public health supply chain systems. This unique multi-partner initiative strives to help strengthen country supply planning and demand capacity with the objective of ensuring greater levels of access to health products and treatments.

Since the collaboration began, many lessons have been learned. This document is an opportunity to reflect

on progress and take stock of lessons learned in four key areas, all integral to the roll out and progress made:

country engagement and deployment, data sharing, manufacturer engagement, development of TRVST, and

global program coordination.
