The BID Learning Network (BLN) invites you to view a webinar entitled “Principles of Digital Development.” The Principles of Digital Development are a set of high level concepts for consideration before embarking on any technology-supported programs. In this webinar, Carolyn Florey, Director of Collective Impact at Digital Impact Alliance (DIAL), discussed how they should be integrated during all phases of project implementation. The presentation also shared how the principles were created in a community-driven effort and as a result of many lessons learned through the use of ICTs in development projects. The presentation will also discuss how the principles encourage the reuse, improvement, collaboration, and use of open source for scale while building on sustainability.
