1.Use of checklist for installation of Ice Lined Refrigerator(ILR)/Deep Freezer(DF)
Effective functioning of Cold Chain Equipment is an essential prerequisite for Immunization program. Cold Chain Technicians (CCT)are the major force that keeps the equipment running and repair them in case of breakdown. A film has been created to support CCTs in repair and maintenance of ILR, DF and Voltage Stablizer as a job aid for quick review and support. There are 10 sections to this film The film has been developed by UNICEF India for Ministry of Health & Family Welfare with support from National Cold Chain & Vaccine Management Resource Center (NCCVMRC), Delhi and National Cold Chain Resource Center (NCCRC), Pune. Use of checklist for installation of Ice Lined Refrigerator(ILR)/Deep Freezer(DF) The video covers proper installation procedure/installation checks of equipment, to ensure a more durable quality operation. This also describes the routine and periodic maintenance of equipment and what sort of records need to be maintained.
