SAGE recommendation for HCWs on polio.
1. All HCWs should have completed primary vaccination against polio.
I think in some case HCWs may got only 3 doses of OPV during their child hood immunization and not receive booster dose.
Suggestion All HCWs should be given one dose of OPV or IPV regradless of previous immunization status.
2. All HCWs should be immunized to measles and proof /documentation of immunity to measles is required as a conditions of enroillement into training and employment.
If HCWs got 2 dose of measles vaccine during child hood immunization, then they dont have to give mesales vaccine during the enrollement into training or employment if they have evidence of vaccination. I think it could be good to give additional dose because some people will have susceptible.
