Applications will be accepted until 6 February 2022.

Testimonial about this course from a Deputy Director of EPI:

“Leading the development of the National Immunization Strategy (NIS), I found the course to be invaluable in helping me adapt IA2030 to our country context. I learned from WHO experts but also from peers in other countries and local levels of the health system. Furthermore, our national EPI manager mandated that all senior directors in the national team take this course, and in the national NIS workshop, the difference between those who had taken the course and everyone else was night and day.”

What are WHO immunization Scholar courses?

Implemented by the World Health Organization and The Geneva Learning Foundation (TGLF), WHO immunization Scholar courses provide remote learning and capacity development for sub-national and national health staff working for governments and partner organizations. WHO and TGLF have agreed to collaborate in the development and delivery of 10 cohorts of online courses in 2021-2022 in support of Immunization Agenda 2030, using TGLF’s Scholar Package, a proprietary package of interventions to support learning, leadership, and talent development. As of December 2021, two cohorts have already been completed, with 797 national and subnational immunization professionals from 70 countries having developed action plans to achieve immunization goals for the decade 2021–2030.
