Dear Colleagues,

Competent, qualified supply chain management (SCM) professionals are increasingly in-demand in both the private and public sectors – how can we ensure all needs are met?
GHSC-PSM believes a “whole of SCM labor market” approach is needed, starting with a competency framework.
Please find attached and see here ( https://www.ghsupplychain.org/comprehensive-workforce-systems-approach ) our recently published study, with People That Deliver (PtD) and SAPICS, that explores perceived needs as well as the similarities and differences between existing government and private sector SCM competency frameworks, which could serve as the core of an SCM professionalization framework.

We are continuing to move this work forward with PtD and SAPICS in 2020.

Should you have any questions then please contact me.

Kind regards,

Andrew
