The effects of switching from 10 to 5-dose vials of MR vaccine on vaccination coverage and wastage: A mixed-method study in Zambia
A randomized control trial conducted in Zambia in 2019 to assess the impact of switch to 5-dose vials for the Measles-Rubella vaccine in routine immunization. The study found that MCV1 increased 4.9% (MCV2 increased 3.5%) and wastage decreased 47% with the switch to a smaller presentation size.
