SUMMARY:Reaching Zero-Dose Children Through Innovative TPVS Technologies: Programmatic Considerations and Country Experiences with Emvolio
DESCRIPTION:Reaching zero-dose children and underserved populations remains a key priority for immunization programmes, particularly in remote and hard-to-reach settings where cold chain and logistical challenges can limit service delivery. This webinar will explore how WHO PQS-prequalified Transportable Powered Vaccine Storage (TPVS) technologies can support vaccine transport, temporary storage, and outreach immunization activities in selected contexts.\nThe session will provide an overview of the TPVS technology category, including intended use cases and operational considerations, followed by country experiences from Kenya, India, Tanzania, and other deployment settings using Emvolio. Speakers will share practical implementation lessons, challenges encountered, and insights from health workers and programme teams. The webinar will conclude with key learnings and considerations for countries evaluating TPVS technologies to support equitable immunization service delivery, followed by a Q&A session.\nThis webinar will be interpreted into French.
