WHO and UNICEF African Regional offices are organizing a supplement publication commemorating 50 years of the EPI program, trying to document the lessons and experiences from the African Region. The supplement, to appear in the Pan African Medical Journal, will feature a range of contributions, including commentaries, essays, perspectives, and analyses that draw on programmatic data from immunization and disease surveillance efforts. Special emphasis will be placed on submissions from African countries, providing national immunization programmes and local researchers with a platform to share their experiences and insights with the global scientific community.
