A new one-stop resource to support countries in collecting and accessing reliable evidence for faster, evidence-based decisions on vaccine introduction, prioritization and portfolio optimization.
🔎 What is it?
The WHO Vaccine Evidence Compendium is a centralized, curated platform hosted on the NITAG Resource Centre, designed to streamline access to reliable and up to date immunization evidence for national decision-makers.
🎯 Objectives
- Enhance countries’ ability to make strategic, data-informed decisions on vaccine introduction, prioritization and optimization by improving access to reliable, up-to-date evidence
- Alleviate the workload of evidence gathering for NITAGs and EPI managers
📦 What does it include?
- Evidence packages for 4 pilot vaccines: Hexavalent, HPV, RSV, and PCV
- Standardized indicators and curated data aligned with existing tools ( including Evidence to Recommendation, New Vaccine Introduction Prioritization and Sequencing tool).
- Exportable content for use in workshops, presentations, and policy briefs, including tables comparing vaccine products.
