MAY 15, 2024

The AIRA 2024 National Meeting took place last week, May 7–9, and boy was it a meeting to remember! The two-and-a-half-day meeting was spent collaborating, networking, and learning from one another. I want to extend my gratitude to all the attendees, sponsors, board directors, and of course, AIRA staff who work so hard to bring us all together for one of my favorite weeks of the year. Meetings like this could not be made possible without your unwavering support, collaboration, and dedication. If you were unable to attend this year’s National Meeting or catch the official announcement of the 2025 National Meeting, don’t worry. We look forward to hosting you April 29–May 1 in… Spokane, Washington!

In other news, the Measurement for Assessment and Certification Advisory Workgroup (MACAW) met in person in Chicago, Illinois, April 9–11. During this meeting, the 34 attendees explored two methods to measure patient matching and defined the next steps for advancing these new methods in the Measurement and Improvement process.

Looking ahead:

  • The next AIRA Discovery Session will take place on Monday, May 20 at 4 p.m. ET. Join us as we recap and highlight select breakout sessions from the AIRA 2024 National Meeting in Orlando. See further details for registration below.
  • The May Joint Public Health Informatics Taskforce (JPHIT) will take place on May 15.

Have a marvelous May,
