The International Vaccine Access Center looks forward to celebrating the value of vaccines during World Immunization Week. The value extends beyond immediate health benefits of protecting loved ones from illness. Vaccines strengthen economies, access to care, and health for people. We work with partners to achieve the vision of a world free from adverse health, economic, and social consequences of vaccine-preventable diseases.

World Immunization Week 2022, April 25-29, offers an unprecedented opportunity to build public trust in the value of all vaccines and help build long-term support for immunization. Our toolkit provides messaging for immunization advocates on the vital role that vaccines play. Use this toolkit to share how vaccines help lead to a #LongLifeForAll.

World Vaccine Congress: How to Combat Vaccine Misinformation

IVAC Deputy Director Rupali Limaye joined Peter Hotez (Baylor College of Medicine) on a panel on combatting vaccine misinformation at the World Vaccine Congress. Dr. Limaye discussed innovative peer-based approaches to counter vaccine misinformation spread on social media, including a free online course that leverages evidence-based approaches to help parents and teachers have effective conversations about COVID-19 vaccines. View a Facebook Live recording of the panel.
