New PQS Configurations ready on all Fridge-tags
The WHO PQS Standard TR06.4 defines three types of standard configurations of 30DTR:
- Type 1: Capable to monitor and programmed with alarm settings suitable for monitoring vaccine refrigerators at +2 to +8°C.
- Type 2: Capable to monitor and programmed with alarm settings suitable for monitoring vaccine freezers at -15 to -25°C.
- Type 3: Capable to monitor and programmed with alarm settings suitable for monitoring vaccine ultra-low temperatures at -70 to -80°C.
All three Types of configurations are now standardly available on all Berlinger Fridge-tags (2, 2E, 2L and Ultra Low).
Each of the configurations have their own colour label:
- Type 1: Yellow label, vaccine refrigerators at +2 to +8°C. Low alarm -0.5°C or below for 60min; high alarm +8°C or above for 10 hours.
- Type 2: White label, vaccine freezers at -15 to -25°C. Low alarm -25°C or below for 60min; high alarm -15°C or above for 60min.

The new configurations are immediately available, simply mention clearly on the order which Type of configuration is needed.
All Types of configurations and all Fridge-tags are 'validated compatible' with the Varo-app (the free smartphone app that collects and forwards useful cold chain information)
