I think there are indicators which can monitor the freezing status of vaccine or prevent like vaccine carrier, freeze alert, 30 DTR etc, but some time when vaccine get freeze it is difficult to confirm whether vaccine been frozen or not through shake test.
Now many new technologies are coming up. In my opinion it is good to have freeze indicator attach with vaccine vial like VVM so that it can easy monitor freezing status of vaccine

Thank you for the great idea, but first I will suggest that the manufacturer should work on the equipment engines to be modified with additional support to prevent freezing
- Automatic stop when the temperature is diverting out of range.
- Put an alarm with a big voice when the temperature is going out of range
Good sizing of engine compressors and the room body (cm3) are also factors that need to be considered.
If a manufacturer puts in additional indicators on the vaccine the cost also will increase.
The cost for additional indicators is going to be an annual projection while the cost for improving the equipment engine is once as long as the manufacturer can develop the ideas.

This is a welcome Idea, adding freeze indicators to vaccine vials despite the cost. It will be of great help to honest Health Workers being guided by this to ensure that only portent vaccines are administered to children.
Some dishonest team members can compromise despite this indicators however, if freeze indicators are available it will be an additional asset for safety on the already existing one, the heat indicators.
Availaility of the two checks will help in a long way by providing guidance on stock monitoring to cold chain officers and supervisors in all immunization supply chain levels.
