WHO vaccination session planning tool
The vaccination session planner is an MS Excel-based tool designed to define the most suitable vaccination session frequency for each service facility, with consideration to reducing vaccine wastage rates, achieving better coverage and improving forecasting of vaccine needs. The tool provides simulations for changing service delivery parameters and vaccines characteristics (per vial size, MDVP status, etc.) to enable the staff responsible for planning vaccination sessions to analyze the impact of these adjustments on the vaccination session frequencies, vaccine wastage rates, vaccine forecast, and safety stock level.
