Assessing Programmatic Needs: Stakeholder Workshop Findings on Oral Cholera Vaccine Capsules (DuoChol) - Presentation slides

Oral cholera vaccine (OCV) capsules represent an innovation that could significantly enhance the efficiency of cholera vaccine delivery worldwide. To ensure this technology aligns with real-world needs, understanding country-specific demands and preferences is critical. The presentation is a sumary of the findings from consultations conducted with over 100 national stakeholders from Bangladesh, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Mozambique!   This presentation documents the key insights that emerged from these discussions. The key highlights include (1) identified barriers to cholera immunization, (2) desirable attributes of the innovation to address these barriers, (3) the potential use cases for OCV capsules, and  (3) feasibility of introducing the capsule format.
