September 2016 VIEW-hub Report on Global Introduction and Implementation
The following report displays data and figures on the introduction status of pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV), rotavirus vaccine, and inactivated polio vaccine (IPV) both globally and in 73 Gavi countries (currently eligible and graduating countries). VIEW-hub, IVAC’s newly launched data visualization platform, and its supporting databases, provide the data and maps that were used in this report. The images and text below describe: the number of countries that have introduced each vaccine or plan to in the future, global, Gavi, and national rates of vaccine coverage and access, historical trends in the rate of global vaccine introduction, vaccine product and dosing schedules, and countries that are conducting PCV impact evaluations. The report concludes with a more detailed description of VIEW-hub and its potential uses.
