Understanding the behavioural and social drivers of vaccine uptake WHO position paper

This position paper discusses the development of the BeSD for vaccine tool. It covers the 4 phases and key activities for the development of the tool. They include:

• Initial development of the tool

• Field testing

• Psychometric validation and indicator selection

• Finalisation of all tools and guidance

In addition it includes the findings of a scoping review to identify effective intervention, and includes programme recommendations for use of the BeSD tools and resulting data.
