Spotlight on Knowledge Translation - Bangladesh (June 2025)
In Bangladesh, the Learning Hub has played a critical role in supporting the uptake and expansion of interventions such as evening immunization sessions and an electronic screening checklist to identify zero-dose and under-immunized children. Through research, policy dialogues, and strategic collaboration with sub-national Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) teams, the Learning Hub helped ensure that these solutions were evidence-informed and tailored to local needs. Structured engagement with government officials, health workers, and community leaders strengthened implementation and helped institutionalize tracking of zero-dose children in routine planning. The Spotlight highlights how collaborative knowledge translation is helping make immunization services more accessible and responsive across Bangladesh.
