Adult Immunization : Featuring best practices from Argentina and Ghana and learnings from COVID-19 vaccination interventions to increase demand and uptake for other vaccines (mpox)

This webinar provides a landscape overview of adult immunization schedules and spotlight innovative approaches and practical experiences in adult immunization, including:

  • Best practices on service delivery from Argentina: Strategies for vaccinating adults with COVID-19, influenza, pneumococcal vaccines;RSV for pregnant women.
  • Best practices on strengthening and integrating health information data from Ghana: leveraging GIS to identify adult high-risk groups for vaccination
  • Evidence on COVID-19 vaccination demand interventions to inform mpox vaccination: results from a COVID-19 vaccine systematic review conducted by International Vaccine Access Center (IVAC)/ Johns Hopkins University, Duke University and WHO to identify interventions (what work well/what did not work well) to increase demand and uptake for adult immunization 

This webinar is part of a series launched by the Community of Practice (CoP) on Adult Immunization, hosted on TechNet-21 and managed by WHO. The CoP aims to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and discussions among global experts and practitioners to advance adult immunization efforts for existing and future vaccines.
