Leaving No HPV Cancer Behind: Addressing Penile Cancer

Taking place at 14.00 BST on Thursday 17 September 2026, this webinar will explore the role of male HPV vaccination in the prevention of penile cancer. 

Penile cancer is one of the least recognised HPV-associated cancers, despite the profound impact it can have on those affected and the fact that many cases are preventable. With incidence rates increasing in many countries, awareness remains low among the public, health professionals and policymakers, contributing to delays in diagnosis and limited attention within cancer and HPV prevention strategies.

This webinar brings together practitioners and advocates to shine a light on this often-overlooked disease, and discuss the need to increase attention to prevention, early detection, treatment and survivorship for penile cancer. It will highlight the critical importance of routine universal (gender-neutral) HPV vaccination in the prevention of penile cancer.
