Description de l'événement:	The importance of using high quality data both to improve immunization program performance and to monitor the results has been highlighted in recent years, mainly following the roll-out and annual assessment of the Global Vaccine Action Plan (GVAP). Also, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, now includes three data-related requirements for countries applying for all types of Gavi support: 1) routine monitoring of vaccination coverage data through an annual desk review; 2) periodic in-depth assessments of routine administrative vaccination coverage data; and 3) periodic nationally representative vaccination coverage surveys. Against this background, over the next few years, there will be an increased need to provide countries with technical assistance to assess the quality of their immunization data and produce actionable data improvement plans, as well as to implement vaccination coverage surveys using the revised WHO vaccination coverage survey methodology.
