Vaccination coverage surveys with publicly posted documentation + code + data ??
Featured Terminée Verrouilléee En cours
Hi Everyone.

We are drafting some material for the updated WHO reference manual on coverage surveys and would like to be able to list examples of projects where the team has posted the survey data and analysis code in a publicly available data repository.

Do you have good examples of that?

Historically, many manuscripts and reports did not make the data available. Now it is quite common for the journal to require a manuscript to say that data (or data and code) are "available upon request". That is good. But we are looking for examples that go one step further and proactively post a description of the survey protocol, the questionnaire, the dataset, analysis code and a codebook or documentation that allows clear interpretation of every variable in the dataset. I don't personally know of many such examples.

It is not a practice that has become common, but it is a practice that we would like to encourage.

If you have made an example like this available with your work, would you please send me a note at [email protected] or post a note back here for others to see, as well?

Many thanks,
-Dale
