Welcome to the new normal. The AIRA 2021 National Meeting will be a hybrid meeting with both in-person and virtual components on August 3–5 in Portland, Oregon. Whether you attend in-person or virtually, the meeting will be an opportunity to continue to work toward our common goal of promoting the use of immunization information to ensure healthy communities through the development and implementation of immunization information systems.
The National Meeting website is now live. Go there to:
- Submit content ideas for consideration or offer to lead a group discussion.
- Register for the meeting.
- Reserve your hotel room.
Call for Content and Opportunities to Lead Group Discussions – OPEN!
Deadline: Sunday, May 16, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. ET
In lieu of a formal Call for Abstracts, we’ve opened a less formal Call for Content. This Call for Content is less rigorous than previous years. It will allow you to submit content ideas for the meeting without submitting a formal abstract. Our hope is that this will be a lighter lift for you while still enabling you to share content that is relevant and interesting. AIRA invites you to submit ideas for presentations and/or express your interest in leading a group discussion. Please only submit presentation ideas if you plan to attend in person. All hybrid (in-person and virtual) content will be delivered in-person and streamed for the virtual audience. If you’re interested in leading a group discussion, this option is open to both in-person and virtual attendees.

Register today to attend the 2021 AIRA National Meeting in-person or virtually! Key contacts for AIRA members received a separate email with a discount code to register at the member rate. Visit airanationalmeeting.org to learn more about registration rates and deadlines. If you need to change your registration type (in-person or virtual), we’ll accommodate changes that are pandemic-related as they arise.
Hotel Reservations – OPEN!
Discounted Rate Deadline: July 9, 2021 (or until the block of rooms is full)
To reserve a hotel room, go to the hotel info page on the National Meeting website or call the Hyatt Regency Portland at 971-222-1234 and mention the AIRA room block to get the discounted room block rate. This year, the entire room block is available at the $182 government rate. Even if you’re not sure whether you’ll be able to attend the meeting in person or not, we recommend you reserve a room now. You can cancel your room reservation 24 hours prior to check-in and will not be charged a cancellation fee.
