Dear colleagues, the TechNet Conference Planning Committee has released a Call for Abstracts. Please click the link below if you want to submit an abstract for a presentation or poster that will be featured at the conference. We would love to hear your ideas!

17th TechNet Conference: Request for Abstracts

The abstract may be on any immunization-related topic, and may be country- or region-specific if relevant. Case studies are particularly invited. An abstract cannot promote a commercial product, and presentations cannot exceed 15 minutes. If you have any question about the submission process, please reply to this forum post and I will respond.

The deadline for submission is Friday, May 5, 2023. Once the deadline has passed, the Planning Committee will review all submissions. If accepted, each submission will be organised into oral or Poster Gallery sessions. The format of submissions may also be adjusted as necessary. The agenda will be finalised prior to the opening of the online registration process on June 1st, 2023.

For more information, please visit the TechNet Conference web-page. Many thanks for your participation.

Dear all, there are only ten days left to share your ideas for presentations at the next TechNet Conference that will be held in Panama City later this year. If you haven't already done so, please give us your thoughts on what should be on the agenda, both in the plenary sessions and the side events such as breakout sessions, Poster Gallery, and Innovations Cafe. At this stage, the Call for Abstracts is simply collecting ideas. Submitting an abstract will not require you to coordinate or deliver the session, so please don't hesitate to give us your expert advice. Many thanks

Dear Dan - is there a word limit for the abstract submission due Friday? How should abstracts be submitted (is there a hyperlink or email address)?

Thanks

Hi Dan,

There was no acknowledgement email after submission of abstract, is that ok? Not sure if I need to submit again?

Hi Chris, the link to the Google Form we are using to collect abstract submissions is given below:

Hi Meg, there is a character limit specified for each field in the abstract submission form - typically between 100-800 characters. The idea is to keep the abstracts short and simple at this point so the Planning Committee can review them more quickly.

Hi Bhrigu, I can see two excellent submissions from you currently in the system.

Thanks all

Hello Dan,

It is unfortunate my results were in the final touches by the deadline.

I am now on move and will be ready to share, I am not sure if it will be allowed for admision.

Any thoughts from you?

By Green.

Hi Green, please share as a reply to this discussion or contact me directly and I will share with the Planning Committee. But no guarantees we can accommodate at this late stage. Thanks

Hi Dan,

Long time not having exchanged with you.  I hope you are doing well.

I am currently working with UNICEF HQ and discussing with Ulla Griffiths this afternoon, she mentioned to me the call for abstracts for the coming Technet.

We have been extensiveky working for the last few years on the National Immuniztaion Strategy (NIS) and were thinking it would be great if the topic could be presented at this Technet.  It is indeed one important piece of work which tries to integrate all immunization activities, putting them in the perspective of the IA 2030 and National Health Sector Strategy.

I know the deadline is already passed but could we still sbumit that abstract.

Please let us know. Thank you very much

Warm regards,

Eric Laurent

Dear Dan.

I sadly note that the date for the submission of abstracts is passed, and that the google form used for the submission of abstracts is not active anymore. Is there any room for submission of abstracts at  this point?

Thanks

Balcha
