Building off the foundational work of the Vaccination Demand Hub, and with funding from Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, the Service Experience Toolkit was launched. The Service Experience Toolkit is designed to introduce the concept of immunization service experience (SE) at the country level, particularly country-level immunization staff and implementing partners.

The toolkit is meant to spark discussion around how EPI programs may address and improve the delivery and experience of immunization. The toolkit consists of 5 products available for download in both English and French on the TechNet library:

  1. Getting Started Guide
  2. Explainer Video (EN/FR/PT subtitles available)
  3. Fact Sheet
  4. SE Orientation Presentation
  5. Discussion Questions

Toolkit products can be used at country level to:

  1. Orient – build a shared understanding of SE and why it’s important for immunization, and kickstart advocacy efforts to address SE through programmatic activities
  2. Discuss – what specific components of SE are challenging in your country context, promising interventions or ideas to address, possible operational barriers
  3. Plan – develop a clear action plan of priority activities to improve SE components, leveraging multi-year planning and funding processes (e.g. cMYP/NIS, FPP, etc.) where possible

To socialize and disseminate, a social media communication kit is available in both English and French. Share the Service Experience Toolkit with your teams, partners and collaborators today!
