How do I navigate the repository?

The repository has 3 search options:

  • Browse by topic: There are 6 main categories with several sub-categories each. This search option is recommended if you are do not have a specific question in mind but would like to explore available resources under a specific topic area. To start your search for resources you may click on any of the categories or sub-categories. This will lead you to an overview page of all resources included in the sub-category of your choice. By clicking on any of the resources listed on the overview page you will arrive at the resource-specific synopsis page. For each of the included resources a synopsis is provided that summarizes key information about the resource that will help you identify the most relevant resource for your purpose. To compare several resources at the same time, you may select multiple resources to compare using the ‘compare resources’ button at the top right of the webpage.
  • Browse by question:This search option is recommended if you have specific questions that you want to answer using the available resources. The questions are grouped around 4 main areas: assessment of C&E, identification of barriers and drivers of C&E, addressing barriers to C&E, and monitoring and evaluation of strategies. Follow the questions until you reach the desired resource.
  • Browse by the IRMMA Framework for Zero Dose:
This grouping allows you to explore resources relating to each of the categories. Here is a short summary of each of the categories: Identify refers to who, where, why, how many zero dose children; Reach refers to flexible, integrated approaches that address both supply and demand side barriers; Monitor and Measure refers to monitor real time, measure outcomes and learn to improve; Advocate refers to the use of evidence to make a case for political attention and resources.

Note: All resources available in the repository are mapped under each of the categories. So regardless of the search options, you would still be able to access all of the resources which are organized in three different ways.

Are all resources included in the repository validated by WHO?

Although many of the resources included are developed by WHO there are also resources developed by other partners. In the synopsis of each resource users can find information on the strengths and constraints/limitations of each resource to support them in reaching a judgment on whether the use of a specific resource would be appropriate in their context.

What information is available for each resource?

The synopsis of each resource includes information on the purpose, type of source, date of publishing, publisher, description of the content, expected outcomes if the resource is used, strengths, constraints/limitations, and information on use (why to use it, who should use it and when to use it).
