Hello,
Given the quickly changing situation with COVID-19, AIRA is regularly assessing our activities and events to determine how we can best support our members and the broader public health community. We know that many of you are responding to the COVID-19 outbreak, and more of you will be pulled into the response over time. We also want to be sensitive to concerns about traveling. For these reasons, AIRA has decided to postpone the Midwest and Northeast regional workshops.
We at AIRA promise that we will do our best to continue to support our community’s important work to enhance IIS. At the same time, we respect that many of you are or will be pulled away from your routine work to support the response. At this point, we are moving forward with other AIRA events, but we will continue to monitor and make decisions based on updated guidance.
If you have questions about AIRA’s approach to the COVID-19 response or feedback on how AIRA can best support you during this time, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
