POST 01128E : QUESTIONS ON OPV 26 July 2007
_____________________________________
Hello all,
For some time now, I have been looking for documentation on monovalent and trivalent OPV. I would like to know if there is a competition between the two types, on administration at a couple-of-days interval. Because of the predominance of circulation of WPV type 1, our response campaigns are conducted only with the monovalent type 1, while in routine EPI, we still vaccinate with the trivalent. Should we observe an interval between the administration of either vaccine, and what could this interval be?
Greetings to all and congratulations for the high quality discussions.
