The Immunization Agenda 2030 (IA2030) aims to ensure that all people benefit from recommended immunizations throughout the life course, integrated with essential health services
This webinar series, organized by the IA2030 Working Group for life course and Integration, will showcase examples from immunization programmes that are successfully working toward an integrated life course approach to vaccination.
Webinar 1: An Overview of the Integrated Life Course Approach To Vaccination
Date: 22 February 2023, 3pm CET
Webinar 2: Health worker vaccination programmes; opportunities beyond Covid
Date: 8 March 2023, 3pm CET
Webinar 3: Catch-up vaccination – an ongoing safety net to reduce immunity gaps across the life course
Date TBC March/Apr 2023, 3pm CET
The series will run on a monthly basis and cover broad topics including: school vaccination platforms, opportunities for adult vaccination, integrated health campaigns, integrating nutrition and immunization services… and more! More sessions will be announced closer to the date.

Session 3: Catch-up vaccination – an ongoing safety net to reduce immunity gaps across the life course
The importance of having a catch-up vaccination strategy has been especially highlighted following interruptions to immunization programmes in recent years. But as programmes direct their efforts to urgently close growing immunity gaps, the emphasis must not be only on short-term solutions. This is an opportunity to advocate for catch-up vaccination as an ongoing component of essential immunization delivery, and key step toward implementing a life course approach to immunization.
A French interpretation will be available.
