Vaccine Carrier Cold Life and Vial Freezing: Laboratory Testing Report

PATH

As part of PATH’s work in vaccine and pharmaceutical supply systems and equipment, this report summarizes experiments to assess the impact of the temperature and degree of freezing of water-packs on vaccine carrier cold life. The report also examines the impact of vial location on the freezing risk to vaccine vial contents during transport.
