Office Closure in Honor of Juneteenth

In recognition of this important day in American history, AIRA’s office will be closed on June 19. We believe it is crucial to reserve space to observe and celebrate this pivotal moment of liberation. June 19, 1865, marks the day enslaved people in Texas were informed of their freedom. Let this be a day of reflection and a reminder to all to continue working toward health equity in all aspects of public health. During this office closure, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for immediate assistance.

The Washington State Department of Health is searching for information regarding the following:

  • IIS programs in which the informatics/data analytics team is embedded within the IIS team (as opposed to being separate teams). Washington would like to gather input from any states with this infrastructure.
  • Washington state has changed the forecasting settings for HPV so children at age 9 prompts “due now” for the HPV vaccination. They are wondering if any other state has the forecasting setting changed to age 9 for HPV.
