The #AIRA2025 Abstract Countdown Has Begun

Just like the stunning views of Spokane, your ideas deserve to shine! There is less than one month to submit abstracts for the AIRA 2025 National Meeting. The Call for Abstracts will close on Sunday, November 17, 11:59 p.m. ET, and speaker notifications will be sent on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Submit your abstract to be considered for a standard breakout presentation or to lead a group discussion. AIRA 2025 National Meeting Registration Now Open So Start Planning!

Registration for the AIRA 2025 National Meeting is now open, and you can now also reserve your hotel. This year’s National Meeting will be held at the Davenport Grand Hotel, 333 W. Spokane Falls Boulevard, Spokane, WA 99201, conveniently located within walking distance of Riverfront Park and other downtown attractions. Don’t forget! This year, we are kicking things off a day early with an exciting opening plenary featuring our keynote speaker, engaging workshops, and a lively networking reception on Monday. We hope you join us in Spokane, Washington, for a unique blend of IIS, outdoor beauty, and vibrant urban culture. Register for the November IDAC

What: Please join us at our IIS Data Analyst Collaborative (IDAC), an opportunity for IIS data analysts to share, discuss, and learn from their peers. These quarterly one-hour meetings provide participants with an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, celebrate successes, and more! In November’s IDAC session, we will discuss real versus artificial coverage gaps, with an emphasis on equity.

 

Who attends: Anyone who supports the extraction, analysis, and interpretation of immunization coverage rates in their jurisdiction is invited to participate.

 

When: November 21 from 1 to 2 p.m. ET.

Join AIRA for an M&I Discovery Session: Patient Matching | A Town Hall

On Monday, November 18 at 4 p.m. ET, discover and discuss the next steps for Patient Matching – HL7 as part of AIRA’s Measurement and Improvement (M&I) initiative. During this interactive Town Hall, AIRA staff members Damon Ferlazzo and Eric Larson will review the draft Measures and Tests for Patient Matching – HL7 document with the IIS community.

 

What to Expect:

  • Overview of M&I and the measurable concept of Patient Matching – HL7
  • Preliminary findings from IIS participation in Testing & Discovery
  • Proposed methodology and measures to assess IIS alignment with functional standards

 

In preparation for the discussion, AIRA will release the draft Measures and Tests for Patient Matching – HL7 document in early November for community review and feedback. Your input is highly encouraged to help shape the proposal.
