Nominations deadline: 20 October

Elections: 29 October

Results announced: Week of 4 November

PtD is calling for nominations for the positions of chair and deputy chair. Any individual may apply or nominate candidates (internal or external to PtD) using this form. The deadline for nominations is midnight of Sunday 20 October.

When will elections be held?

Elections will be held online on Tuesday 29 October. During the elections the candidates will have an opportunity to introduce themselves and outline their vision for PtD and the contributions they have made – and plan to make – to strengthen human resources for supply chain management.

How will coalition members vote?

Following the online meeting the primary representative of each member organisation will cast an anonymous online vote for the chair and deputy chair. The chair and deputy chair will be elected by majority. In cases in which two candidates receive the same number of votes, the two candidates with the most votes will enter a second-round of voting.

When will the new chair and deputy be announced?

The new chair and deputy chair will be announced during the week of 4 November.

More information about the chair and deputy chair roles

The chair and deputy chair positions are held for two years and both are pivotal to the coalition. The terms for both positions can be renewed for an additional two years. As well as guiding PtD’s activities and overseeing long-term objectives, the two are figureheads and ambassadors responsible for representing the coalition and for advocating its key messages.
