AIRA needs your help to prioritize strategies and activities most likely to improve the capture of adult vaccination records in IIS. We know your time is precious right now and we appreciate any valuable input you can provide. We’re gathering this information to guide future stakeholder engagement that will seek consensus on strategies to be further developed as part of our Strategic Roadmap for improving adult capture (find more information below).
Background Info
AIRA has been evaluating barriers and opportunities for adult immunization capture in IIS. We recently drafted a Landscape Analysis report that includes an overview of the policies, practices, challenges, and successes that exist within the current adult vaccination environment. The report identified a number of strategies and things to consider for improving awareness and use of IIS among adult vaccination providers in routine and outbreak/emergency response vaccination settings.
Findings from the report will inform a Strategic Roadmap. The roadmap will provide a three- to five-year plan for how to address barriers and implement strategies to advance adult vaccination data capture and use of IIS. If you have any questions, please contact Liz Abbott.
