My name is Dr. Alinafe Kasiya, and I am VillageReach's Malawi Country Director. Like so many others, my family has been personally and devastatingly affected by COVID-19. I am one of just 6 percent of Africans who have been fully vaccinated. 
Beating COVID-19 means we must strengthen fragile health systems. My team in Malawi and my colleagues across VillageReach are working with governments to prepare for vaccine delivery and protect vulnerable people from the damage the pandemic is causing to primary health care systems. 

We won’t stop:
  • Delivering vaccines, medicine and PPE that will protect millions of people this year
  • Improving COVID-19 vaccine access for the 93% of Africans who remain unvaccinated
  • Connecting hard-to-reach communities with primary health care services
  • Protecting and empowering health workers
