The Ethiopia Data Use Partnership published a journal article in BMC on assessing the maturity level of Ethiopia’s health information system.

JSI in partnership with affiliate inSupply Health co-authored an article in Global Health Science and Practice that focused on findings from a mixed-methods study examining whether data use teams were effective in improving reproductive health supply chain outcomes in Guinea, Indonesia, Kenya, and Myanmar.

Research by JSI staff on market-based interventions to increase egg purchasing and consumption in Tigray, Ethiopia was published in Global Health Science and Practice.

New MOMENTUM Landscape Review and Overview on Measuring and Monitoring Adaptive Learning
The USAID MOMENTUM Knowledge Accelerator project recently produced two documents focused on measuring and monitoring adaptive learning, which includes the adoption of strategies and actions to facilitate critical reflection and analysis of information and knowledge to optimize program implementation and effectiveness in expected, unexpected, and changing circumstances. Both the overview and landscape review of Measuring and Monitoring Adaptive Learning highlight learning from five adaptive programming guidelines and toolkits and one implementation science framework. Food Processing for Improved Diets
The relationship between food processing and diets is complex; expanding the production of processed foods may play a role in both supporting and hindering food systems in delivering safe, nutritious diets. In regions of the world with high burdens of malnutrition—including both overweight/obesity, micronutrient deficiency, and undernutrition—food processing can be leveraged to improve diets and nutrition. Partner- and Family-Based Index Testing
JSI launched a new online course on partner- and family-based index testing for HIV. It is designed for providers, managers, and supervisors working in health facilities and community HIV testing service settings. The e-course is based on technical content from the WHO, PEPFAR, CDC, USAID, and UNAIDS, and it covers the benefits of index testing, procedures for delivering assisted partner notification, and standards for document index testing services.
