AIRA - New resource available now! "Vaccine Code Set Consideration: If Only It Were Rocket Science"

Hello,

A new resource, Vaccine Code Set Considerations: If Only It Were Rocket Science, is now published on the AIRA website. This document provides a general overview of vaccine code sets and also briefly describes how code sets are used in support of multiple and varied IIS functions, including electronic data exchange with EHRs and other health information systems, and vaccine ordering and inventory management.

Thank you to all the IIS expert contributors, the Joint Development and Implementation (JDI) Advisory Workgroup, and our CDC partners for providing their expertise and experience throughout various stages of development of this document.

Join us for the next Discovery Session on Thursday, May 28 at 4pm ET (note the date change due to Memorial Day). You will hear more about the content of this considerations document and the future vision for better defined supporting data for vaccine code sets.

Webinar information is listed below and can also be found here on the AIRA website. If you are unable to attend this session, a recording link can be found later in the week by using the “webinars” filter in the AIRA repository.
