Since the start of COVID-19, VillageReach and the COVID-19 Action Fund for Africa (CAF-Africa) have helped supply over 4.5 million pieces of personal protective equipment to CHWs in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
With CHWs now protected, the Ministry of Health is running a polio vaccination campaign for more than 3 million children to prevent a resurgence of the disease.
