SnapShots: A Way to Stay Connected with Your Peers During COVID-19

Hello,

We know you’re busy preparing your COVID-19 response plans. We hope the articles in this edition of SnapShots will help you make connections with your peers in the IIS community and learn how other states/jurisdictions are tackling their work during the pandemic, including North Dakota’s experience with the IZ Gateway, how Illinois’ use of SmartyStreets has helped with patient matching, and Wisconsin and Minnesota’s preparations for the challenges ahead using data analytics—just to name a few!

This edition also features an article on AIRA’s continued advocacy for the importance of IIS and existing infrastructure, and how AIRA is working to address policy barriers that inhibit data exchange and ensure administered doses of COVID vaccine will be reported to the IIS.

SnapShots is AIRA’s quarterly newsletter that highlights the progress, best practices, and accomplishments of IIS. We accept articles on a rolling basis and would love to hear from you! Please email SnapShots Editor Katie Reed and AIRA Communication Specialist Lonnie Peterson with any articles or ideas for future articles.

Thank you,
